Unique Impact:
This was LU SAFE’s first project in the United States, establishing its capability in urban redevelopment, contractor services, and adaptive structural design. The successful transformation of legacy structures into vibrant community assets strengthened LU SAFE’s international credibility and paved the way for its global expansion.

Customized Safety Signage, PPE & Catalyst Loading Support

Client: ILK Construction (subcontractor to TCM-KT JV / Maire Tecnimont) Location: Haydar Aliyev Oil Refinery (Unit 35 and 45), Baku, Azerbaijan Scope of Work
Installation of over 1,500 units of safety signboards using high-quality PVC, aluminum, and vinyl materials
Deployment of Emergency Response Team (ERT) and Rope Access Alpinists to support catalyst loading in confined and hazardous spaces
Supply of site PPE and UV-resistant and galvanized custom safety signage poles and industrial heavy-duty windsocks
Compliance with carcinogenic exposure protocols (Unit 35 catalyst handling)

Impact:
This multi-disciplinary project reinforced LU SAFE’s position as a trusted safety and industrial service provider for high-risk chemical environments. Through ethical contracting and rigorous performance, LU SAFE played a direct role in supporting the HAOR reconstruction and modernization project and ensuring health and safety in one of Azerbaijan’s most critical facilities complying with international industrial safety and quality standards and codes

HSE & Infrastructure Delivery for an International Climate Event

Full HSE Management during construction and operational phases
Appointed as HSE Focal Point in the MOC Crisis Management Center
Developed & implemented the Massive Casualty Emergency Plan for 100,000+ visitors
